WHITE FLIGHT
Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc/Viognier (California)
Delicious grapefruit and melon aromas waft from the glass, dancing with a floral note that likely reflects the Viognier. Crisp and fresh on the palate, juicy fruit and perhaps just a hint of sweetness are nicely balanced by lemon-squirt acidity.
Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio (Italy)
Clear, straw yellow color, with light golden reflections. A low concentration of surmaturo grapes gives the wine tropical fruit notes that make this unique vintage truly exotic, with apple and pineapple aromas and flavors. The wine is full bodied, with a pleasantly soft palate and a long finish.
Toad Hollow Chardonnay (Mendocino County)
This beautifully balanced Chardonnay has hints of mango, melon, mineral and pineapple with incredible acidity. The nose is delicately perfumed with citrus and green apple. Has a mouthfeel that is rich and creamy, while still displaying crisp and clean flavors. There is no wood of any kind in this wine! No chips, no sawdust, no planks.
ESSENCE OF RED FLIGHT
Bridlewood Pinot Noir (California)
This has plenty of bright cherry and strawberry flavors, and there’s enough structure to allow the wine to pair well with foods like salmon and roast chicken.
Blackstone Merlot (California)
Barrel aging adds notable structure. The wine is rich with dark fruits, such as plum and blackberry, integrating beautifully with the oak. Hints of leather and velvety texture with a bit of chocolate linger on the smooth finish.
Kenwood Cabernet Sauvignon (Sonoma County)
Complex flavors of red currant and raspberries followed by hints of black licorice. Full-bodied and smooth, with rich tannins and a lingering finish.
WORLD TOUR FLIGHT
Red Guitar (Spain)
Tempranillo, Spain's star native grape, contributes wonderful aromatics and structure, while old vine Garnacha delivers an explosion of ripe fruit characters. Together, the blend creates a rich, powerful wine with black fruit and ripe raspberry characters and a long smooth finish.
Ménage à Trois Red Blend (California)
This wine exposes the fresh, ripe, jam-like fruit that is the calling card of California wine. Three saucy grapes make up the blend. Zinfandel adds a juicy character, Merlot mellows and Cabernet adds backbone. Forward, spicy and soft, this delicious dalliance makes the perfect trio.
Diseño Malbec (Mendoza)
Malbec is perfectly suited to the Central region of Mendoza. Diseño Malbec has deep purple color with crimson luster. The bouquet of lilac and cherry blossom unfolds to a hint of tobacco. The explosive flavors of earthy blueberry and rich chocolate are fleshy yet robust with well balanced acidity - quintessential Malbec from Mendoza.
DOWN AND UNDER
Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand)
A distinctive Marlborough bouquet of cut grass and capsicum. This wine displays excellent palate weight and length, with flavors of ripe passion fruit, lemon and peach supported by fresh, zesty acidity.
Rosemount Estate Shiraz (Australia)
A medium to full-bodied wine with generous ripe fruit flavors of blackberries, plum and cassis. Spice and cedar flavors develop with time in the glass. Soft tannins provide structure and definition to the traditional long and rich Rosemount Estate finish.
Penfolds “Koonunga Hill” Cabernet-Shiraz (Australia)
A balanced wine with a continuum of flavor throughout. The cabernet sauvignon is more profound on the palate than the nose with chocolate and mocha flavors clasping raspberry and blackberry fruits. A rich-sweet mid-palate and finish are firmed by ripe, prominent tannins.
